On 6 May 1906 the first edition of the Targa Florio got under way. It is still considered to be the first real car race and an all-time great classic.
It took place next to the sea and climbed up the narrow winding roads of the Sicilian mountains in Italy through a couple of towns, including Colessano. In time the buildings at the hairpin in Colessano would become a world renown landmark. The names of local heroes were painted on many buildings. This collection of buildings strives to recreate the ambiance of the famous race track trackside with some buildings very close to replicas and certainly all in the style of Collessano’s architecture during the 60s and 70s of the previous century.

They are made from Super Refined MDF or Basswood.
They come in laser cut sheets and are easy to assemble requiring only Glue (CA, PVA or Wood Glue). They can be finished with Paint, Spray or Stain.
Artwork is laser printed on quality card-stock and any complex shapes are pre-cut for you. ***Note we use a laser to cut the artwork which may leave a very realistic racetrack residue!
