This product is inspired by the Pit Complex of the Targa Florio circuit. The Targa Florio was an open roof endurance road race in the mountains of Sicily near Palemo and was first run in 1906 which makes it the world’s oldest motor racing event. The event was part of the World Sportscar Championship between 1955 and 1973. After some serious accidents racing stopped in 1977. Today the buildings are under thread of demolition to make way for a railway extension.
